Here I am again! I know I sure have missed a few days haven't I? Well I'm back to let you know that I have updated my photos and I have almost finished another song for my upcoming CD. A song that has been written after waiting for God's help. I tried to do it myself and stumbled for words and yet I knew the song was supposed to be written and found out that it was only in God's time. I know this much is true. I will definitely cry when I first try to sing it. I hope that it will touch the hearts of many. P.S. I would like to thank all of you who have visited my website. Without you, my website would not be a success.

And I have just ordered my cheerleading uniform that I had promised to put on my website so hopefully when I get it back, it will blow some socks off. Yesterday, I added new pictures to my website. I am going to be taking more pictures today in hopes that some of those can be on there by tomorrow.

Diary, I bet you're wondering where September went. Well the truth of the matter is I blinked once and it passed right by me.
Today I went to church and the message that I received was like coming straight to me or at least it felt that way, but it was a message that was good. The message was about people who cry out to God and ask Him why He doesn't listen. It also let me know at the end of the message that God does listen even though He may not answer right then. The answer will come in His time. Be patient. God is there all the time and will never let you down!

I sent out an email thanking Robert Metzgar and Charles Fach for the invitation to audition in Mississippi. Today, I got a nice reply back and I know faithfully something good will come out of this. I believe Robert and Charles will both be excellent guys to work with and soon I plan to call them and discuss my options. I certainly don't have money to fork out and after almost giving up, I believe God sent a Blessing, through Robert and Charles with the opportunity to audition for them in Mississippi. I have faith that anything you believe in strong enough, God will grant and deliver. Thanks be to God and for the two light shiners that God sent my way! Wahlah!!!

I visited my mom in my hometown and spent time with my family. I got to see my son that I haven't seen in three weeks and of course he brings along this beautiful little talkative, can't keep her little lips closed, lovable and would not stop hugging me, little angel! And that little angel happens to be my grandaughter. And I was only 16 when I married and after my former husband, my son and daughter's dad, wanted a divorce, I went through some tough times, but with God's help after working very hard and I'm not talking about sitting on my tush, picked up my pieces and I chose to move forward. After the storm, came a rainbow and after asking God who I was supposed to spend the rest of my life with, He sent me my soulmate and present husband! Also I told God whatever He had planned for me here on earth I would be willing to obey Him. And, that's where music comes in.
I feel like you are as young as you feel. And I feel Blessed to have my son and daughter both come out also with positive attitudes. They have good hearts, they are not afraid of hard work, and they have their own talents. When I visited, unfortunately my daughter couldn't be there, but she did call. We played on a tire swing hanging from the tree that was put up by my brother and we played horseshoes and we played ball. It was a great day! I am thankful for my family and the simple things in life.

I arrived at Harrah's Casino in Mississippi where the American Music Auditions are being held. I was very amazed at the many slot machines and bright, blinking lights as I walked into this huge place. I have not played the slot games but a few times. I spent approximately $20 and broke even the times that I played. I was so busy that I didn't have much time to play. I was very honored to have had the opportunity to audition for two very successful people in the music industry.
Robert Metzgar, of Capitol Management Group, was recently inducted into the Legends Hall of Fame by Willie Nelson and Roy Clark. Mr. Metzgar has won numerous awards for promotion of such artists as Kenny Rogers, Alan Jackson, and many others. He has recently produced the Smokey River Boys very successful "O Brother" album from the movie of the same name. The song, "O Brother" has been in Top-40 Billboard for over a year. Mr. Metzgar is the only producer in history to have ever had eleven single releases all with bullets in the Hot Country Singles Charts in the same week. A very nice guy, friendly personality, and he made me feel as though I had known him all of my life. At the audition he told me he would like to cut a single of one of my songs I wrote called "Simple Livin." He has invited me to meet with him at his Nashville office and I am very excited about this.
Charles E. Fach Jr., of Platinum Plus Universal, is a living legend and one of the most respected major label executives in music history. After personally meeting Charlie at my audition, I highly respect him. He is modest, kind hearted, down to earth, and when I hugged his neck he felt like a very lovable teddy bear. I think he is a bright and cheerful guy. And he is spiffy too! I think he could out dance any guy out there even though he didn't tell me he danced. And I would be honored to dance with him anytime, anywhere! Charlie signed the following superstars to their record contracts and developed them as we know them today. Rod Stewart, Vern Gosdin, The Kendalls, Roger Miller, George Burns, Chuck Mangione, KOOL & The Gang and many others. Charlie is considered the person that made Jerry Lee Lewis a household word in America. I would be very happy and honored if he would always remain my friend and advisor, because he's wiser!
Now, that I've gotten that off of my chest and my audition has come to an end, I feel like it was a success. I had no idea before I arrived to audition how big, huge, famous, etc. that these two men were and that's putting it lightly! Had I known then what I know now I would have fainted on the stage! Wahlah!

Today I am leaving for my audition in Mississippi. I can't believe how many clothes that I end up carrying on all of my trips. I guess it's a woman's thing!!! I am concentrating and trying to focus on my music and studying lyrics. I am very excited that this day has finally arrived. My husband that I love very much has been very supportive and plays great guitar.

My daughter left to go back home after spending a couple of nights with me. She had college starting up on Tuesday. I sure do miss her when she leaves, although I'm very proud of her for leading a responsible life. Also, I am proud of my son. He is a hard worker and is building a house. He is dedicated at everything he does.

I woke up this morning from the sound of the phone ringing. Adam had to call to get Richard and I up. I had stayed up late with Richard taking pictures all night so we didn't hear Adam's knock at the door earlier. Tashena came down to spend the night with me and I was excited about that! Tashena and I went to Walmart and Adam and Richard went to the bookstore. So I'm gonna try to turn in before daylight this time!

I had a very exciting day. I have been counting the days down until my audition comes up. I had been thinking this morning about Robert Metzgar and had him on my mind. I was thinking about what a nice guy he must be and later in the evening when I returned home from dinner with Richard, Adam, and Chris I suddenly decided to check my phone messages. I had received a call from Robert Metzgar, the producer and one of the two persons that will be judging at the audition in Mississippi. He phoned me to make me aware that the audition will be televised and to let me know that I may want to dress accordingly. I am so excited and I want to say so much, but yet I am so nervous and I pray that God will lead the way! He brought me this far so I will continue to trust in Him!

I got up and had coffee and cereal and took a few photo shots. I am learning my camera and I have a ways to go before I perfect it although I think my pictures are pretty decent. I chatted on the web with a friend and he is also a singer/songwriter. He is young and talented and will be performing at a resort this weekend. I told him about another guy that I met in a bar who is also another singer/songwriter. I was going there to meet someone that played drums and ask him if he would sit in on the drums at a charity event and I really didn't know what kind of place this was going to be when I met him. That is when I met this guy that wanted me to sing one of his songs. He has really a great song called "Whosoever Will." I want to have it added on to my website so that everyone can listen. It is so moving it will put chills on you! Well, it is twelvish now so I need to check my emails before turning in.

Today I slept in until 11:00am. I know I should have gotten up, but I didn't. I suppose I needed the sleep. I checked my email to find out if I had any new friends. I planned to fill out a questionnaire for an audition in Mississippi. I haven't yet, but if I have to stay up all night, this is a must do! I went to Walmart and there was a man dressed in a white collar and slacks and he came up behind me and I let him go before me at the check out because he didn't have but one item. He was very nice and he kept thanking me and so I hope I did a good deed for the day.
